THE ONLY ROADS

October 2032. Scientists announce that the climate crisis is now unstoppable. The Earth, within a few decades, will become unlivable to humans. Extreme temperatures, rising oceans, wars for resources, nothing can prevent this apocalypse. How to deal with such an announcement? Edward, a young militant ecologist, conceives what seems to him the only possible reaction, however monstrous: a voluntary extinction of humanity, in order to spare himself this terrible agony.

Lise comes to the opposite conclusion. If today's science condemns us, the findings of the future could disprove it. She decides to give life to a group of women with the aim of having as many children as possible, since, in a world of indifferent people, only the children of those who fought for the Earth will have the strength and motivation to save it. Georges, an unemployed Parisian, lives above, or below, it all. His only concern is that others believe him to be a normal man and inserted in society. How could such opposing views coexist in a world now doomed? There is only one way. And a man living in 2111 knows this.
