STRAP POETRY

Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September in Crema CR in the Municipal Portico of

Piazza Duomo, from 10 to 19, the Circolo Poetico Correnti, with the patronage

of the Municipality of Crema, organizes the 25th edition of Poesia A Strappo

entitled DISTANCE. Poets wishing to participate can send a

maximum of 3 texts in A4 format photocopied each in 20 copies

by Tuesday 8 September at the following address:

Participation is free. The theme of the poems and texts is free.

Poems inspired by the title theme are also accepted: the sense of space in the

towards and into existence, to the current redefinition of proximity and of

communication in poetry, to "So far So close" (Wim Wenders).

When printing the texts to be sent, leave 3 cm free on the top edge of the

A4 format for typographical assembly of the poems received.

We recommend the signature of the poems and the possible insertion of personal data

to offer the authoral identity to the reader.

Anonymous compositions are also accepted and exhibited:

In this case the organizers exercise their discretion towards writings

deemed offensive and of gratuitous vulgarity.

We do not accept the web sending of poems in text files.

The 25th edition of Poesia A Strappo, entitled Distance, enjoys support

of the Popular Association Crema for the Territory and will take place in compliance with the provisions

regulations and those of interpersonal distance. During the days

exhibitions include readings and performances by invited poets and artists.

Saturday 12 an Open Mic for registration of the participants.
