XXV Exhibition and Market of Ancient and Valuable Books
The twenty-fifth edition of Scripta is dedicated to Antonio Bossi
Starting from 2019 the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Crema wanted to revive Scripta which for many years, from 1984 to 2008, had great success with a national and supranational resonance. In 2020 the exhibition reaches its twenty-fifth edition and sees the participation of some of the best antiquarian bookstores, bibliographic studios, printers and printers, who exhibit in the convent refectory frescoed by Giovan Pietro da Cemmo. The Printing Museum of Lodi will also be present in this edition with a demonstration of typographic printing.
Sunday 25th October is dedicated to cultural encounters: at 11 am Chiara Nicolini , expert in ancient and rare books and collector, presents a conference entitled Seven hundred years of visions. The illustrations of the Divine Comedy through the ages . At 6 pm the editors Simone Bandirali , Alberto Casiraghy and Antonio Castronuovo talk to each other by presenting their respective publishing houses in the Editori di Giornata conference. Editions dell'Ariete, Pulcinoelefante, Babbomorto Editore.
