DU PALET AN VAL PALOT

The ski season continues with the by now customary night skiing shared this year with various ski clubs in the area and CAI sections: the "Skinight" of Corvatsch (St. Moritz, next 23/2, organized in collaboration with the site dovesciare .it, with direct departure from Crema) and, an absolute novelty this year, the initiative “DU PALET AN VAL PALOT”, aimed at all ski lovers in the area of Crema and its surroundings.

This new initiative, scheduled for Saturday 2 March next, provides for the rental of the slopes of the ski resort of Val Palot (which for the whole evening will be reserved only for participants registered for the event) for a night skiing with the lifts opening from 18.00 to 20.30. For those who want to participate, in addition to the possibility of free skiing in company, there will also be the opportunity to try their hand at a descent in a real giant slalom track made available to participants; the initiative is enriched by the presence of a ski instructor who, during the reconnaissance, will be able to give some advice on how to tackle the track before the timed test. For those who prefer to enjoy the mountains while walking, it will be possible to take a walk under the stars. Finally, the program includes the conclusion of the evening with a dinner in company at the Duadel restaurant (at the foot of the ski lift) which will offer a choice of menus for skiers and non-skiers.

Departure from Crema at 3.00 pm (meeting at 2.30 pm) from Piazzale Croce Rossa (former slaughterhouse area) and arrival in Val Palot at around 5.00 pm; snack and preparation for the opening of the facilities.

The departure (travel by own means) is scheduled from piazzale Croce Rossa in Crema (former slaughterhouse area) with meeting point at 2.30 pm to dial the cars; however, it is possible to reach the resort autonomously upon registration to be signed at the CAI during the opening evenings.
